Testimonials

You certainly know how to put together a tough course. It was truly punishing at times, but that’s how we like it. The scenery was spectacular and at times it was hard to believe we were lucky enough to be running through it. All of us will definitely be back next year.
Karen Bentley2015 3rd 42km Run
With yellow and red ocher colors through the small hills to my right side, the 5,300KM long dingo fence and moon plain to my left, I could absolutely feel like I was on Mars… What we were doing now, was running in desert. With no trees, bush, or even weeds… The course was outstanding and a must for anyone looking to get in a marathon that is more challenging than you would think…

We entered the 10km walk and had a GREAT time. The scenery was spectacular and everyone involved with the event was friendly. We enjoyed the energy boosting lollies at the checkpoints. The whole event was very well organised. The next day we had time to explore Coober Pedy and found everyone in the town very welcoming and obliging. We flew back home with very pleasant memories of your great little town.

I have done a number of runs throughout Australia and this event is my favourite one.

Amazing scenery, and at times just me and my footfalls and empty gibber plain on either side.  Seeing so far ahead from the tops of the rises was a bit of a mind game! …How often to you get to run/ride in the desert and along the dingo fence?!
