Helping kids to be active and healthy

It's important for kids' to live active, healthy lives. Outback kids don't always have the same opportunity to participate in sporting events as kids who live in larger towns and cities.

So a key goal of the Great Kanku-Breakaways Marathon event is to encourage kids to enjoy being physically active in the outdoors.

​

To help remove barriers for participation in our event, we offer free entry to outback kids U16 years of age (and subsidised entry to the 20km distance).
